AnnTremet was born from a simple dream: to bring a little more joy into people's lives through beautiful and delicious desserts.

Our name comes from the French word entremets, a refined style of mousse cake known for its delicate layers, elegant flavors, and stunning mirror glaze finish. Inspired by the artistry of French pastry, Annabelle Li and her husband, Peixin Lim, founded AnnTremet with a vision of creating desserts that are as memorable as the moments they celebrate.

Like many New Yorkers, Annabelle and Peixin spent their days navigating demanding careers and fast-paced schedules. Amid the hustle of city life, they discovered that some of life's happiest moments are often shared around a cake—whether celebrating a birthday, welcoming a new family member, marking an achievement, or simply gathering with loved ones. What began as a passion project soon grew into a bakery dedicated to creating handcrafted cakes and pastries that bring people together.

Today, AnnTremet is best known for its signature mirror glaze cakes—luxurious mousse cakes finished with a glossy coating so smooth it reflects like a mirror. Beyond our signature entremets, our team creates a wide collection of fresh cream cakes, pastries, seasonal desserts, and custom creations inspired by French techniques and global flavors.
